You may know how powerful Family Constellations is. How transformative and healing it is for systemic based issues?
There are fewer of you who know how equally, powerful Emotional Mind Integration (EMI) is, for issues that arise from personal problematic experiences. Situations that may have involved, intimidation, bullying, shame, unexpressed anger, sadness and fear. Experiences that have been suppressed in your subconscious mind for protection: And yet remain highly charged in the psyche’ in becoming a buried disturbance or trauma with triggers that may fire-off at any time. These disturbances may develop into states of depression, anxiety, panic, PTSD symptoms.
What is Emotional Mind Integration?
Emotional Mind Integration is a highly effective and powerful way of working with such symptoms and states, at their causal experience or memory in the amygdala. By locating it accurately, powerfully and gently and most of all processing it efficiently. Clearing the symptom of its emotional charge or completing the inflamed “fight or flight response.” Finishing with an empowering integration process. Allowing new perspectives to arise into conscious awareness.
Why I Created Emotional Mind Integration
I created Emotional Mind Integration when I realised Family Constellations, powerful as it is does not cover all bases. Such as, disturbances, triggers and trauma caused in the life of the person. I had a dilemma, what do I do with such issues, other than going back to my former counselling, psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, NLP approaches?
Counselling/psychotherapies of all kinds work only with the conscious mind in talk - therapies, which is only around 5%. These approaches often require months or years and may or may not ever get to the source of the problem. Even if they did, counselling or psychotherapy teachings and skills are not sufficient to process such disturbances or traumas quickly and effectively.
As a clinical hypnotherapist with knowledge and skills to access and work with the subconscious mind, it doesn’t provide the knowledge to link a symptom to its cause and the knowledge and skills in what to do with it. Other than make positive suggestions or speak in metaphors to hopefully encourage the mind into self-healing. I found this also relatively long-winded and ‘hit and miss,’ compared to the accuracy, efficiency and speed of Emotional Mind Integration.
What many Psychotherapists Say
I remember a while ago talking to some psychotherapists about EMI and their responses of,
“I love hearing peoples’stories”,
“I love working with sand-play”,
“I enjoy doing dream work”,
“I prefer doing Emotionally-Focused work”
“I really love the philosophy and practice of Gestalt”
“If I take on EMI, it will mean my years of doing a PhD, (or Masters or degree), in my chosen psychotherapy field is wasted.”
So Who is a Typical Emotional Mind Integration trainee?
Those with a clear focus on being the best psychotherapists they can be for those who seek their assistance, in really making a difference, that is deep, efficient and fast. Are drawn by curiosity and excitement into this work. Clients simply want to feel better on the whole and if that can be acheived simply and efficiently all the better. Such people recognise that they can create the practice they wish to create with Emotional Mind Integration. Decide where they wish to focus.
I visualise a time when Emotional Mind Integration services are available all over the nation and world, so that those who are ready for change and recovery, can resolve their symptoms and traumas efficiently and safely, so they can get on with their lives, and quickly.
It's a myth that psychotherapy must take place slowly.
